May 14th was our big Five Year Anniversary, WOOT WOOT! But the best part is we used it as an excuse for Eric and I to go on a trip. We decided to go to MOAB and let me just say it was a great choice!! First of all, we went white water rafting and it was honestly a blast. Maybe because of this man(our guide) that you see in this pic below. Ha Ha looking at him makes me laugh. I wish you could see his five rats tails in the back that are so long. Anyways don't let his scruffy look fool you, he was hilarious!! He tried to do tricks and get us in the water, don't worry we had great balance but others in the boat didn't. Oh, and he took the word EPIC to a whole new level!! He said it about every sentence and now so do Eric and I.
And now we can say that we swam in the Colorado river, it was freezing and Eric was a wimp let me just say.
We also went Mountain Biking. Oh my gosh it was definitely an experience!! I have never really road bikes much and definitely not off ten foot drop offs. Just kidding it wasn't that bad and I wasn't scared but just not that confident that I could make it up rocky things but I got better. There was a point when I yelled back at Eric with my fist in the air saying "this is zero fun eric, zero!" And he won't let me live it down but I will say that my speedometer thing said we had only gone .35 miles when we had really gone over three and so I thought I would never make it.
The trail we went on was 10 miles but that wasn't enough for Eric. I cried when I saw the car(happy and relieved tears) and Eric said that it was our warm up. I think he is nuts so he went on the next ride by himself. Ha Ha in this pic he had just finished and was limping and a little tired, yeah hes human...... This trail most people take 5 hours but he did it in just under two. See, he is crazy!!
If you are in Moab eat at Pasta Jays , it is so yummy!

And if you need a laugh, this is the place......... A couple built their house inside the rock. You can see the gift shop on the left and a few windows of their house on the right. Nuts!! Its a 5,000 square foot home or home-cave.

They have some really funny things there. Sorry, I just have to tell a few.... A big wooden box that had a sign that said, "Baby Rattlers, open with caution". I made Eric open it and there was literally a bunch of baby rattles. They also had a huge bull made out of old tools. A zoo! The list goes on! And the gift shop was a crack up. This hat says "I bet mine is LONGER than yours". Ha Ha seriously!!
