Welcome Blake!!

 

I was trying for a V-back, but my doc said I had to go into labor on my own and I was almost a week past my due date and my belly had measured the same for over a month. The doc was concerned about this and said he would help me along since I had already done 1 vaginal birth. Here I am so excited to finally have a baby! It felt weird going into the hospital smiling instead of in pain. Although after they hooked the monitors up, I was having consistent contractions on my own and dilated to a 4, 90% effaced. Once they started me on a low dose of Pitocin, things started rolling.

Eric managed a nap and played around on the ipad while I was having painful contractions:) But let me just say, he is so handsome, I love this picture of him. This was right before I started to push, he was so cute and excited!! I love him so much.

 

 

We did have a little scare, and the babies heart rated kept dropping with every contraction so we had to get him out of there fast. And then Blake Bo Nilsson joined our family forever. July 9th at 6:53pm 6lbs 11oz 20 inches long.

Blake was healthy and doing well.

 

 

This is the first time the boys got to see him, the nurse was cleaning him up, they were so curious and extremely excited!!

 Second visit. Kobe is upset cuz he stubbed his toe to the extreme. It was on the door and it was so hard it literally chipped a big piece of wood off.

 

The boys are doing so good with him, they get impatient with mom but love their brother. This is a picture of Kobe and Jace laughing so hard at the faces Blake makes.

 

 

Our little eskimo, I wish u could see how hairy he is, he has man sideburns!!
