I know I am a softy but Dax has always loved dogs. In fact his whole first year of life he pretended he was a dog more than a human. And lately when we put him to bed he gets so sad and even curls his lip and says, "Kobe and Jace sleep together, you and dad sleep together, I have nobody." So I told him we would get him a dog to sleep with and we found the perfect one. She is a mini poodle and is 4 months old. But the down-fall is here name.... Its Iris, thats horrible. We had a milk cow named Iris growing up so thats all I can think about.
But her personality is so cute! She never barks, we have heard her one time and it was weak ha ha, very weak!! She is so low key and well mannered, not hyper, and perfect for the kids. But she needs to back off my man a little bit:)
And don't you love moments like this? But if you know Kobe and Jace, this peacefulness did not last long. Ha Ha actually as soon as the camera flashed Kobe fell off and then Jace fell so hard right on top of him.
This one is for you Anne. My sis in law took our fam pics and I made a collage with them. I promised her I would post it. I think it looks cuter in real life though, thanks Anne you do a great job and so talented!! In our office I also have blown up pics of the boys golfing and I will post that next time so you can see how cute they turned out.
Oh and Dax was just looking at the computer and wanted me to show all of you his pizza he made. We made home-ade pizza for family night and he is proud of it. He got a little out of hand with the pepperonis!! And he wanted pineapple for the hair.
We love going fishing at Pine Valley. Do you like Daxtons get up? But please don't pay to much attention to Erics hat, it was so bright. Dax is shying away from the fish but I have video of him kissing it. Sick!!
We were there long enough to catch a few fish and then headed to build a campfire. Dax couldn't hold his pole any longer, he said it made his arms tired:)
Kobe and Jace couldn't stay out of the water of course and it was freezing, crazy boys!

I LOVE Iris, she is so cute. Its even funnier that Eric said her name came from IRS. Thats hilarious! I forgot all about our milk cow Iris until just now. Im so glad that you got Dax a dog because thats sad that he realized that he was alone. I LOVE your collage of pictures. I LOVE how all the frames are different, it looks so cute! Ang, You have such a cute family. You guys are always doing fun things together. Daxtons fishing gear is so funny. His jacket is so big haha! I LOVE you guys and I cant wait to see you next week!!!
That dog is the cutest! Does she know her name too well that you can't change it now? I'm sure it will grow on you. She'll be a fun sleeping pal for Dax!!
