Together Again

When I went in to check on them this morning, they had put them together. It was so cute to see them like this, they just look so comfortable with each other. They are always laying the same and doing the same things with their arms!! They are doing great, Jace doesn't have any airflow anymore and Kobe just has a tiny bit.

Eric said what their names are but I would just like to tell you where we got their middle names because they have some meaning. Kobe's middle name is William and that is after a whole lot of Williams in the family but mainly his grandpa Mark William Nilsson. (Erics middle name is William also). And then Jace Eddy is named after my dad.
Now..... I would like to fill you in on what happened. Saturday night I got food poisoning and started throwing up like crazy. I couldn't even keep water down and my stomach hurt so bad. So at like 2:30 am we came to the hospital to get looked at. After some shots to stop the nausea and an IV for hydration I was feeling a lot better. But the contractions didn't stop. (I will be brief or this story will go on forever). So they gave me shots and pills to try to stop the contractions and they did slow them down. They were going to let me go home but decided to check my cervix to see if I had dilated any. Sure enough, I was at a 3 and was 80% effaced so I wasn't going anywhere. They kept dosing me up with pills and shots, I swear I have had a million in the last few days. They gave me a steroid shot in the butt to help the babies lungs develop and our goal was to hold labor off until I could have another steroid shot. It was looking like my contractions were slowing down again but they were still strong. By this point I was a 4. Then the contractions came really strong and about every two minutes and now I was a 5+. So, it was time to prep me for a C-Section. I was so scared, everything happened so fast. And the surgery was a really weird experience but we made it!! I am sore but I am honestly so happy. This is so much better than by labor with Daxton. A week after I had Daxton I still couldn't walk without being hunched over and hurting. And another thing that is so much better is breastfeeding. I got to feed them today and the entire time I was thinking, "Oh, so this is what it is supposed to be like!" They didn't suck forever but it wasn't anything like it was with Daxton, but that's a different story. I knew things were hard with Daxton but this really puts things into perspective. Lets just say that I am seriously so happy and I love all my boys and grateful for them. Things are going great and I get to go home tomorrow morning. I will be excited to see Dax, I haven't really seen him in days. I hope all this made sense because there was lots of info to cram into one post. Thanks for all the love and support.

Congratulations! I'm sorry it had to be so dramatic, but I'm so glad everyone is okay. That truly is such a precious picture. Hopefully Daxton will be excited to have 2 new brothers...still so crazy to think! I'm so happy for you guys. How did you decide who was who? I've always wondered that, and how do you keep them straight?
