Doctor visits
I feel like I spend alot of time in the doctors office. Well, in the waiting room mostly, its crazy how long you have to wait sometimes. And I would just like to thank my neighbors and everyone that has been helping me with Daxton so much:) You are all so kind... We got really good news this week at the doc. About a month ago we had to go to a specialist and they measured every part of both babies and checked to make sure everything was ok. He told us that one baby has problems with his bowels and that he has extra fluid in his brain and that if it gets worse his head will burst. He was really negative and was talking about how we might have to get rid of one baby to make sure the other one will survive. It was a horrible feeling and to make it worse, he said he wasn't going to give us another ultra sound for a whole month. But ya know what, the more we researched it and went with how we felt in our gut, we knew everything was fine. And we just had to go with that and have faith, thats how I made it through the month of anticipation.... So, we had our ultra sound and he said the bowels looked good and the fluid hasn't gotten better but it hasn't gotten any worse either. SO THATS GREAT NEWS!! And as far as the babies, they are growing like weeds. I am measuring 30+ weeks along. And both babies are measuring big, even for just a singleton. So I am just hoping we make it until June. My luck I will have huge babies and go full term!!! Ah, that would be the end of me. But I am feeling very blessed and lucky that I am not on bed rest or anything yet. Not saying I am comfortable but things are going pretty well.

That is crazy that he was so negative. Glad things are looking up though! I hope everything works out! And don't jinx yourself on bedrest. It is NOT fun.
You've got great faith, glad to hear things are looking better! Hopefully it won't be too long for you, I know it gets pretty miserable, especailly in the heat. Good luck...as for me, I'm still waiting, I have a feeling it will still be another week or so, but you never know is the crazy part.
Oh angie I'm so glad that everything is okay with you and the babies. Do you have names? I wish I could be there to help. OH! I found some lotion for dry skin and I would like to send Eric some, if that's okay. I need your address. Hope everything is okay.
Im so glad that things are looking better, please call ANYTIME and Ill be there to help, Dax and Hurley can play together!!!
Angie, I feel so bad that you had to go through a whole month with something like that on your mind. I am glad that everything is looking better. They thought that Matty had some problems with his kidneys and I had to do the whole specialist thing too, but everything turned out fine. I think the doctors just try to be extra careful. Keep your faith and I am sure that everything is going to turn out great. Love ya.
Doctor's are such jerks. They think they are the single smartest person on the planet, and the rest of us pee-ons just owe them something. I have heard dozens of stories where doctors tell expectant mothers horrible things, and in the end, everything always turns out just fine. You will be just fine too. Don't stress, that is the worst thing you could do. Even doctors should know that. They ought to lie to mothers and tell them that everything is fine and to just relax. I bet that would solve a world of pregnancy problems.
Hey I think you should put those hand prints up just the way they are- you will always laugh when you look at them- we have something similar up at our house :)
And Angie wow what a scare. Please keep up the updates and let us know- it sounds like he's a fighter though- he's pulling through! We will be praying for you guys. Good luck. Miss you Ang!
I am glad everything is ok! You are the most adorable pregnant woman! Can't wait to meet the little duo.
