My 19 month old!!

Sorry, this might be boring to some of you but theres some stuff I just need to write down. I have a journal for Daxton that I wanted to write in everyday but I am very bad at it lately. I am better at typing so I am going to type a few things so I don't forget them. I am not writing this because I am a proud parent, I don't even know if the things he is doing are normal or behind or whatever.

What Daxton has been up to:
-He absolutely loves balls. He throws them and kicks them around all day long. You will never come into my house without seeing at least 10 balls in the front room. I can't keep them put away! And he has to have his basketball hoop in the front room too. And he makes me put it against the couch with a pillow under the net so the ball rolls right back to him.... So funny, and it works for me too cuz I don't have to rebound.
-He still loves to be outside but that's OK because I do too!
-The last couple of days he has been hitting his bum and saying poop and running to the toilet and asking me to put him on there. He hasn't gone yet but he gets on there and grunts(must be watching his dad:) I haven't even really talked to him about going potty on the toilet, so I am a little shocked. But I know I still have a long ways to go till hes potty trained, so I'm not getting too excited.
- He still isn't growing or gaining weight. He has only gained like a 1/2 of a pound in 3 months. I got the go ahead from the doc to feed him tons of butter and sour cream or anything fattening. But the problem is, how do I get him to eat that when I have been trying to get him to eat anything period his whole life?? He just doesn't like eating too much I guess, which I think is completely crazy. Who doesn't like food!!
-He is starting to talk like crazy. I am not going to try to write down all the words he says. But I love it when he talks. Sometimes he will spit out a little sentence and I don't even know how he learned it. His voice is so cute.... Except for when he whines, that drives me crazy. My favorite is when he says please, I love it.
-He loves to pray. When we say prayers with him at night, he is so good at folding his arms and he even closes his eyes, I don't even keep mine closed. At the end he says amen but then wants to say another prayer, so we have to say a couple sometimes.
-Dax is a little boss. And he doesn't like sharing too much. The other day he was hitting a little boy in the head with his golf club because he didn't want to share his tractor. Oh man!
-He loves jackets and shoes. He wears jackets inside a lot and I can't get him to take them off.
-Really likes to take baths but hates to put lotion on and his clothes afterwards.
-A total mommas boy but really loves his dad too. When he hears the garage door open and Eric is getting home from work, he gets the biggest smile and runs to the door. It is so cute!!
-Loves chap stick, or loves to eat it.
-And I have to admit that he really likes to wear my bracelets and necklaces.
-His favorite song is the Hot Dog song that is at the end of the cartoon Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. He doesn't like to watch TV but when they start singing that song, he says hot dog over and over and dances so funny!

Well, I could go on and on but that will do for now. I feel better that I have some things written down now cuz I am queen at forgeting stuff. But I will say that Daxton is so fun, and has the cutest personality. I am so thankful for him and he makes me want to be a better person everyday.

I'm glad that I got to read about Daxton since I never get to see him. He seems to be growing up a lot. Thanks for posting!
